My DevOps Plan
My DevOps roadmap to guide me on which skills to learn
The roadmap (left) is from roadmap.sh. With this and other resources I am doing my best to learn all the technologies required to become a DevOps engineer.
With this roadmap and future learning from 2nd line and system administrator roles, I aim to gain the enterprise skill practise required to implement them in a business environment.

Current Projects
What am I currently learning?
Certifications
My current goal is to gain my AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate certification. This will allow me to expand upon my existing skills and prove that I have the knowledge.
Technology
I have been focused on learning the concepts of Kubernetes. But I have now realised that the optimal way to deploy images to Kubernetes is to use a CI/CD pipeline to format and test software before it is deployed. My next steps are:
- Learn GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD
- Learn more Azure services (Backend of Intune or Azure AD for use in an enterprise setting)
- Learn Ansible then Terraform
