Southease/Newhaven/Eastbourne

Today all my plans went out the window (this is becoming fairly common).

I had intended to visit a National Trust house. In southease so I stayed in a remote YHA hostel. But upon waking up I noticed that the house only opens on Wednesday.

To change up my plans, I decided to go to the next largest town (Newhaven). I figured I would wander around the harbour.

Once I got there, I found that a large area of it was closed off due to it being an industrial port. I also got quite cold when in the shade.

I decided to visit McDonald’s to get warm and get the healthiest burger I could with a salad (the lettuce was massive. I had to use my knife and fork to cut it up).

It took me a while to decide on where to visit on my way to Hastings. I decided upon Eastbourne as it was large enough to actually have more to look at.

I walked the High Street and visited the Pier. Then hopped back on my train to Hastings.
