I wasn’t really sure what to expect with Nottingham. It’s a fairly modern city as it has a tram network (if fairly small). There are certainly buildings that are very old. One of the pubs has supposedly been there since 1240.

Obviously you have Nottingham Castle. Which sits on some interesting rock formations and is surrounded by some nice houses.

I managed to walk the majority of the city on the first day, so I just chilled out in the evening at my hostel performing some further maintenance on my home lab.
The next morning before I boarded my train, I walked along the canal and the more residential areas. They seemed to be fairly basic properties and had their mini high street. But it wasn’t anything impressive. Had I ventured a bit further I may have found some nicer properties.
