Liverpool

I always thought fairly negatively of Liverpool. Not sure why. But upon visiting it’s a nice place. The only complaint I do have is that the YHA Hostel is located right near the clubs. It made trying to get some sleep a bit difficult. They also had multiple clubs so you weren’t just listening to one song.

As usual I love the water aspects of each place. Therefore I loved the harbour and all of the buildings located there.

This building reminded me of one located in Reykjavik Iceland. Especially as both are located on the coast.

After exploring the city centre I noticed a massive cathedral on the hill (I didn’t realise how big at the time). Once standing next to it I struggled to get it in a full photo. If I didn’t have a wide angle lense I definitely wouldn’t have.

This is what it looked like without a wide angle.

After wandering around the inside I headed back down to the harbour and then headed to the station to catch the train to Chester. I was surprised when I realised I had to catch the underground Metro. I just assumed they would have above ground trains only.
